Summer Body Coming...Eventually

So last year I was sitting at my desk, minding my business (or maybe somebody else's business. Who knows.) when I came across a post about "Kanye West Ice Cream Week". So naturally I looked more into it and it was exactly what it sounds like. An entire week of ice cream treats inspired by the rap connoisseur? Wait, this is real? Hosted at Morgensterns Ice Cream parlor, I headed there right after work and participated in the festivities and It was dope! Like really really dope. Who comes up with these ideas, anyway? I told everyone I could about it and encouraged them check it our for themselves because...duh!

So you can only imagine my excitement when I heard they were doing is AGAIN this year! Fittingly titled 'Kanye West Ice Cream Week SZN 2' in conjunction with First We Feast, the themed week ran from June 2 - June 12. I made my way to the Lower East Side for another dope experience with treats inspired by the Chi-town rapper and his unique life.

Think, Panda Cone , Bound 2 Banana Split, and Paparazzi Pineapple (because we all know how much Kanye loves the paparazzi). Of course there was the Nori Shake and the Saint Shake. But My favorite was the Young Metro Milkshake which was a Hennessy and butterscotch infused milkshake. Which made it totally acceptable for me to day drink. Don't worry. I got a small. It was 2pm, folks.

Moral of the story, #KanyeIceCreamWeek will definitely go down as one of my favorite Summer '16 memories and here are some pictures to prove it.
